A Sprout's Wish

This one is a personal project! My friend, Amanda Stockley, shot and directed this beautiful stop-motion Christmas film about a little sprout with big dreams. Amanda reached out to me to see if I wanted to collaborate on her film and add motion graphics based on the script she’d written.

 

From there I mocked up some style frames in Photoshop using a font that I felt complemented the tone of the video, and then hand-traced each frame to create a hand-drawn boil effect for each text plate. 

 

I love a Christmas film and this was a really charming project to work on!
